"The opportunity to meet and work alongside exceptional founders, supporting them on their journey in building the next big thing, is so rewarding."

What inspires you about venture capital?

Being able to experience the rapid pace of technological innovation first-hand already makes for an incredibly fascinating job. Additionally, the opportunity to meet and work alongside exceptional founders, supporting them on their journey in building the next big thing, makes it all the more rewarding.

What strengths do you bring to the companies you partner with?

Having spent time in banking, private equity / debt, I am familiar with how more (relatively) mature companies operate and hope to be able to leverage that experience to bring value to the portfolio.

In another life, if you weren’t in venture capital, what would you be?

I’ve always wanted to try out acting. As a child, I had a very wild imagination and loved playing pretend, so I figured being an actor was a relatively safe (and potentially lucrative) way to channel my creativity.

What professional or personal event in your life helped shape the way you think about venture investing?

My parents started their own business while raising me, so I know how much one has to put into building something that you can call your own. As such, I have developed a great deal of respect and empathy for the hustle entrepreneurs go through.
