"Venture provides the unique ability to explore, meet, and support teams who are building nascent technology or business models."

Which tech trend are you most excited about?

I am most excited about the use of behavioral profiles to identify and authenticate users so that we can eventually do away with passwords. I hate having to reset them via email or use multi factor authentication!

What inspires you about venture capital?

Venture provides the unique ability to explore, meet, and support teams who are building nascent technology or business models. The potential for these teams to grow their work into an industry leading or sector defining business is gripping.

Podcast or publication?

Publication: Money Stuff by Matt Levine. He has the ability to take complex financial news and make it entertaining and educational.

In another life, if you weren’t in venture capital, what would you be?

I would be an owner operator of a small hotel in the Caribbean. I love the beach and meeting new people, so I think this would be a great job in an alternate universe.

It’s a Saturday afternoon where can we find you and what are you up to?

In the summer I’m at the beach/lake/pool (in that order) and in the winter I’m trying to find a place to go skiing… but every Sunday I’m on my couch watching a movie (or 3).
